What one must remember when selecting the correct size of your new Blundstone shoes?
Gauging the appropriate size of your shoe is rather difficult without trying them on as shoes from different makers differ in size even though they theoretically have the same size on the standard shoe chart. The size of a sporting shoe differs from the size of a traditional shoe usually by one number up.
Most feet change during the course of the day and ongoing tiredness, i. e. , they start to swell. It is best to measure the length of your foot during it's "medium" tiredness which would be in the middle of the day.
One should select the size of your shoe with an appropriate increase of five percent of the length of your foot.
Method for selecting the correct size:
1) When drawing the outline of your foot on a piece of paper, please ensure that the pencil is in a vertical position. Next measure the outermost distance from your big toe to your heel. To this result one needs to add 0.5 to 1 cm. One needs to equate the end result to the sizes presented in the chart and select the insert size which is closest to your result.
2) One can use an insert from a pair of shoes that fit you very well and that are of the same fashion. Measure this insert and equate the measurement to the insert sizes on the chart and select the appropriate size.
3) When measuring the length of your foot while wearing a sock, one must take this into account and ensure that the insert is longer by 0.5 to 1 cm. Take the end result and equate it to sizes presented on the chart.
